is seeking an individual for the position of a Driver for the Marine Corps

POSITION: MSG Driver

OPENING DATE: May 14, 2008

CLOSING DATE: Until filled

WORK HOURS: Full-time (84 hours per pay period in day and night shifts).

SALARY: 57 EEK per hour

NOTE: ALL ORDINARILY RESIDENT APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED WORK AND RESIDENCY PERMITS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

1. Completion of secondary school;
2. Two years of professional chauffeur experience is required;
3. Level II (limited) Speaking/Reading English; Level III (good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading Estonian;
4. Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

is offering a one-month internship in the Public Affairs Office

Duties:

• provide assistance to the Public Affairs staff on selected cultural, academic, and media-related projects;
• summarize and/or translate articles from the Estonian press;
• draft after-action reports on exchange visits;
• help to coordinate cultural events.

Qualifications:

• applicants must prove that they are students in good standing at an accredited university in Estonia;
• strong writing and speaking skills (Estonian and English) are essential;
• the selected candidate will have to pass a background check.
