Embassy Tallinn's Regional Outreach Team in Tartu County

On January 29-30, Embassy Tallinn Chargé d’Affaires and Cultural Assistant visited Tartu County as part of the Embassy’s Regional Outreach Program. In Estonia’s second city of Tartu, the Chargé gave a speech about U.S. elections to 100 students at a local high school. She also met with local officials, visited Tartu University, Estonia’s Aviation College, and the Baltic Defense College, and enjoyed an informal dinner with visiting Fulbright scholars. The team traveled to the small ethnic-Russian town of Kallaste on the shores of Lake Peipsi to meet with community leaders.
