Narva Hosts Estonia's Third Soap Box Derby
The U.S. Embassy in Tallinn supported the Soap Box Derby in Narva for the third year in a row. The current running of this quintessentially American sport brought a record-number 24 entries from across Estonia, including one entry from the U.S. Embassy. Young and old alike enjoyed viewing, cheering on and sharing in the excitement of participants as they raced to the finish in a variety of vehicles, showcasing their creativity, ingenuity and clear sense of humor. The Soap Box Derby was organized by the Gagarin Center and held with the cooperation of the City of Narva and in the context of the Narva City Days.
