Soap Box Derby in Narva

Narva Hosts Estonia's First Soap Box Derby: On June 9, teams from around Estonia gathered at the Russian-Estonian border city of Narva to compete in an all-American tradition: the soap box derby. The successful integration event brought together over 1,000 spectators and 18 participants, including one Estonian team from Russia. The first-ever Estonian derby (partially-funded by a grant from Embassy Tallinn PAS from funding received from EUR/PPD) featured creatively-designed entries and participants from ages 6 to 60 competing for sponsor-donated prizes.
