Eurasian Cyber Conference Held in Tallinn by FBI
From May 10-15, the FBI, together with the Estonian Ministry of Justice and the Estonian Forensic Institute, held a high-level cyber crime conference in Tallinn for Eurasian participants.
Among the participants were 40 cyber crime researchers and experts from ten countries. During a press conference, Shawn Henry, the Assistant Director of the FBI's Cyber Division explained that the FBI plans to have a full-time cyber crime expert working in Estonia. On May 11, the Associate Press, ETV evening news and Estonian radio covered the press conference. On May 12, Postimees daily reported that an FBI representative presented five officers from Estonia's Central Criminal Police letters of commendation for successful cooperation in fighting cyber crime.
