President Ilves Presents Ambassador Phillips Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana, First Class

U.S. Ambassador Stanley Davis Phillips paid a farewell visit on January 8th to Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, who thanked the Ambassador for his excellent work and his personal contribution to the promotion of Estonian-American relations. In recognition of the Ambassador's service, President Ilves presented Ambassador Phillips with the Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana First Class.
During their meeting, President Ilves highlighted Estonia's accession to the U.S. Visa Waiver Program during Ambassador's Phillips tenure in Estonia. The recently-inaugurated NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center and U.S. participation in its launch were also discussed at length.
