Richard Holbrooke Press Conference
After the Frasure Memorial Lecture in Tallinn

Ambassador Richard Holbrooke will deliver the first annual Frasure Memorial Lecture on April 1, 1998 at 4 p.m. in the National Library of Estonia (2 Tõnismägi Street, Tallinn). The lecture is in honor of the late Ambassador Frasure, first U.S. Ambassador to Estonia after it regained independence in 1991. Frasure was killed in Bosnia in August 1995 on the way to peace negotiations led by Richard Holbrooke with several other U.S. diplomats.

Immediately following the lecture (at 5 p.m.) there will be a press conference with Amb. Holbrooke in the small hall next to the lecture site in the National Library. The press conference will take place in English; there will be no translation provided.

Journalists who wish to attend the lecture and/or the press conference should register with the press office at the US Embassy in Tallinn by March 31.
