Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Karen Decker at the Opening of Hiiumaa Hospital’s New Surgery Wing
Regional paper Hiiu Leht reported on the opening of the new surgery wing of the Hiiumaa hospital and noted that in the framework of the U.S. Humanitarian Assistance program, the U.S. Embassy supported the renovation with 3.2 million EEK. Chargé d’ Affaires Karen Decker commented that she is very proud of the work that has been done for developing the Hiiumaa hospital and noted that symbolically it can be said now that a piece of the United States is also present in Hiiumaa.
