USNS Big Horn Visits Tallinn Harbor

The U.S. Naval Oiler "Big Horn" begins a short port call in Tallinn today. It is here for a routine port visit, following its role in supporting a U.S. Navy vessel that recently visited St. Petersburg.

The Big Horn, which belongs to the U.S. Military Sealift Command, carries 180,000 barrels of fuel oil or aviation fuel. It is manned by a crew of 103, of whom 82 are civilians. It is lightly armed with self-defense weapons. Onboard visits are not planned.
