    The USS Forrest Sherman, a U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke class destroyer, arrived in Tallinn on June 25 and stayed until June 27. The visit of the USS Forrest Sherman helps to underscore and highlight the interest of the United States in and engagement with Estonia, the Estonian military, and the Estonian people.

Narva Hosts Estonia's Third Soap Box Derby
The U.S. Embassy in Tallinn supported the Soap Box Derby in Narva for the third year in a row. The current running of this quintessentially American sport brought a record-number 24 entries from across Estonia, including one entry from the U.S. Embassy.

Regional paper Hiiu Leht reported on the opening of the new surgery wing of the Hiiumaa hospital and noted that in the framework of the U.S. Humanitarian Assistance program, the U.S. Embassy supported the renovation with 3.2 million EEK.
