U.S. Independence Day Celebration on June 18
The U.S. Embassy in Tallinn welcomed hundreds of guests yesterday to its annual 4th of July celebration, an opportunity to both reflect on the history of our country and at the same time celebrate our independence and freedom.

Narva Hosts Estonia's Third Soap Box Derby
The U.S. Embassy in Tallinn supported the Soap Box Derby in Narva for the third year in a row. The current running of this quintessentially American sport brought a record-number 24 entries from across Estonia, including one entry from the U.S. Embassy.

Regional paper Hiiu Leht reported on the opening of the new surgery wing of the Hiiumaa hospital and noted that in the framework of the U.S. Humanitarian Assistance program, the U.S. Embassy supported the renovation with 3.2 million EEK.
